About Me

Hello World, I am Liz! I am currently studying International Media and Computing at the University for Applied Sciences Berlin (HTW Berlin), to earn my Msster of Science.

I already have some experience with game development, which I gathered during my education. Right now, I have the most practice with Unity and C# (Wer Du Bist), but I'm also familiar with Java (AI Diver) and JavaScript (Golf Game).

  • Einstein Gymnasium Neuenhagen

    2014 - 2019
    I graduated Highschool with an average of 2.0, with a main emphasis on Computer Science and Maths.
  • HTW - Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft

    2019 - 2023
    I finished my Bachelor of Science in "International Media and Computing" at the University for Applied Sciences Berlin (HTW Berlin), with an average grade of 1.6 and a specialisation in Game Technology.

    since 2023
    Currently, I am doing the masters cource of "International Media and Computing" at the same university. I am once again planning on specialising in Game Technologie an Programming.
  • Distant Beacon

    October 2022 - Feburary 2023
    As part of my studies, I had the opportunity to go abroad to participate in an internship.
    Distant Beacon is software company located in Oulu, Finland, specialized in game development. There, I not only learned about the work distribution within a team common for the industry, I also deepend my knowledge and practice with Unity Game Programming.
  • JuHu Berlin - Junge Humanisten*innen Berlin

    since 2021
    JuHu is a humanistic youth association, which organizes a variety of summer camps, workshops or demonstrations, with an emphasis on equality and diversity, (e.g. disabilities, lgbtq+, anti-racism, anti-sexism)
    After being a participants in these summer camps for many years, I am now working there on a voluntary basis, helping with organizing and leading some of these camps and workshops.

For this project, I wrote a Pathfinding A.I. to collect underwater pearls as fast as possible, without running out of air.
